Cassy Clarke is a small town girl who moved around a lot during her childhood in the North of South Africa, but settled down in Hartbeespoort. She completed her Bachelor Degree majoring in Sociology and Psychology at the University of Pretoria in 2013.
Cassy was introduced to the radio industry at TUKS FM where she was a DJ for two years and her time there saw her winning 2 MTN Radio Awards: Best Drive Show Presenter and Best Stunt for attempting a Guinness World Record alongside Alex Caige for Longest Radio Broadcast by DJ team.
Cassy Clarke was the ambassador for the First for Women Sisters with Blisters Protest March in 2015, having been a victim of abuse herself encouraging others to become survivors of abuse is very close to her heart.
Cassy is now host of The Lounge on the 19:00-22:00 slot weekdays and host of the Jacaranda FM Top 20, powered by Chamberlains on Saturdays 10:00-12:00.
Cassy Clarke loves music and listens to rock, alternative and electronic dance music with her favourite bands being Metallica and Seether. Her love of music is balanced by her love of movies with one of her favourite films being Chicago. And what is the love of movies without being a foodie, which Cassy definitely is.
